Arthritis and Joint Replacement
We treat various forms of arthritis including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, post-infection arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and post-AVN arthritis. Treatment is planned according to the stage of the disease. Initially, conservative management such as supportive care, muscle strengthening, and lifestyle modification is advised.
Medications are prescribed selectively in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. In rare cases, intra-articular injections are used to manage severe pain during acute phases.
MIS Joint Replacement Technique
We specialize in minimally invasive (MIS) joint replacement techniques. In this approach, muscles are preserved wherever possible. If muscle cutting is required, it is repaired at the exact anatomical site to maintain joint biomechanics, allowing the replaced joint to function like a natural joint.
